District’s-Choice Online Learning Adds Course Providers
District’s-Choice Online Learning, a program of Cooperating School Districts, has contracted with multiple course vendors to provide a comprehensive online curriculum to schools and districts looking to meet their students’ online learning needs.
District’s-Choice has strategically chosen high-quality vendors that together create a menu of course options that can meet the needs of any student or school. Schools can mix and match courses from any of these vendors to create their own online program. Vendors include:
e2020: e2020 is DCOL’s primary provider for core classes (language arts, math, science, social studies, electives and more) for grades 9 through 12. e2020 has also introduced a robust collection of career education offerings including computer literacy, digital arts, personal finance, marketing and many more.
Edison Learning: Edison Learning is DCOL’s primary course provider for STEM courses. Examples include biotechnology, environmental science, calculus, chemical engineering, statistics and many more. Edison Learning’s online formative assessment system eValuate (formerly Tungsten) is also part of the DCOL offering.
K12: K12 is DCOL’s primary vendor for K-8 courses in the areas of language arts, math, science, history, math, world languages, art and music. Through Aventa they offer a full menu of AP courses, and through Middlebury Interactive Languages they offer a full spectrum of foreign language courses from beginning level to AP.
Through District’s-Choice, schools are guaranteed the lowest prices in the state on every course offered by these providers. You can begin building your online learning program today through District’s-Choice. Contact Ruth Litman-Block at rlblock@csd.org or (800) 935-8282 x1272 to get started.
