Five St. Louis-Area Teachers Receive CSD Scholarship Award
Teachers to be honored on April 22
The Cooperating School Districts of Greater St. Louis, Inc. (CSD) is proud to recognize five St. Louis-area teachers as recipients of CSD Scholarship awards. The scholarships are given on an annual basis to assist highly deserving teachers with the opportunity to continue their professional development. Soon households across the country will receive their 2010 Census form in the mail. This year’s form is the shortest in history, including just 10 questions that should take only about 10 minutes to answer. Being Smart in Today's Schools
CSD has produced a new video that districts can use to remind teachers and other staff members about the importance of maintaining appropriate teacher-student relationships, especially during the era of technology. The video, “Being Smart in Today’s Schools,” provides common-sense advice and guidelines to school employees when using social networking sites, texting, cell phones, and in non-technology situations.
