2009 Midwest Education Technology Conference (METC)
Make plans to attend METC - January 26-28
The Midwest Education Technology Conference (METC), hosted by the Cooperating School Districts of Greater St. Louis, Inc. (CSD) will be held January 26-28, 2009 at the St. Charles Convention Center. The theme for the 26th annual event is “Technology Tools of Engagement, R U There?”
Online registration for METC 2009 is now available. Featured speakers include Howard Pitler, co-author of Using Technology with Classroom Instruction that Works; Tammy Worcester, instructional technology specialist and webmaster of “Tammy’s Technology Tips for Teachers”; Doug Johnson, director of Media and Technology and author of the Blue Skunk Blog; and Cindy Lane, professional development specialist at Lindbergh School District and Missouri’s first Google Teacher.
METC is held annually for K-12 educators to share best practices using technology as a learning tool in the classroom and to see the latest instructional technology software and emerging technologies available for education in the 21st Century.
For 26 years, METC has provided excellence in educational technology and continued that tradition with exciting keynote presenters and experienced, innovative speakers that helped keep attendees informed as to what’s available to make the classroom a 21st Century classroom.

Cooperating School Districts (CSD) is an education consortium serving 64 public school districts in Missouri and Illinois.
