Dr. Cheryl Compton, Superintendent
Ritenour School District

How does CSD services help in the day-to-day functions of the Ritenour
School District?
CSD provides invaluable services to Ritenour on a daily basis.  Professional Development services are readily available.  Most all of our principals have attended the Principals' Academy.  The Character Education program supports our teachers and students on a daily basis.  The Insurance Trust helps us continue to provide top-of-the- line health coverage to our employees.  Monthly Superintendent meetings keep us informed and connected to other districts.  We utilize the cooperative purchasing services as a means of working more efficiently.  Our district has a Community Relations department, however, my previous district did not.  For any district without a public relations professional, CSD is there to fill that need. I appreciate the ongoing support of CSD as we all work together to make a difference for the students of the Greater St. Louis area.

What feedback do you hear from Ritenour employees regarding CSD services?
Our employees appreciate the networking opportunities CSD provides.  They also appreciate opportunities to learn and grow with other professionals across the area.  When there are questions, someone at CSD will help find the answers.

What about CSD have you found to be most beneficial in your position as
Superintendent of the Ritenour School District?
I have been an educator in the St. Louis area for a number of years.  I can't imagine doing my work without the support of CSD.  In my position as Superintendent, I appreciate knowing that I have an avenue to access for help or support, no matter what the issue, problem, or question.  I am especially grateful for the role CSD takes in lobbying for education at the state level.  I believe our voice is much stronger, because we stand together.
