Austin, TX – [March 17, 2026 at 8:00 AM Eastern Time] – Mozzeria, an award-winning and Deaf-owned pizzeria, announced Theodore “Theo” Miller as its new Chief Executive Officer, opening an exciting new chapter for Mozzeria and its mission to celebrate food and community through the lens of Deaf culture. 

Theo is a graduate of Gallaudet University with 5 years of experience in hospitality and leadership. He joined Mozzeria in 2022 and advanced from General Manager to Director of Operations, and then Vice President of Operations, earning recognition for his creativity, strategic vision, and passion for sharing Deaf culture. He previously led Mozzeria’s Washington, D.C. location, supporting employees and strengthening the restaurant’s role as a cultural hub. He now carries that leadership forward in the next chapter with multiple exciting projects in the pipeline, including the upcoming Mozzeria Express in Mesa, Arizona, a streamlined, community-focused dining concept, with plans to expand into other communities with large Deaf and Hard of Hearing populations in the future.
