About
Elise Nye is a communications professional and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in communications and healthcare administration. She is the Director of Communications at Gallaudet University and has served on several boards, including the Abused Deaf Women Advocacy Services Board. Passionate about advocacy, she has contributed to groundbreaking housing initiatives for Deaf and DeafBlind communities in Seattle, Washington, and Albuquerque, New Mexico. Elise holds a master’s in organizational leadership from Gonzaga University and a bachelor’s in sociology from Gallaudet University.
